Here is your course content.

The focus in this course is put on speaking – theory is put into practice! Forget the boring and exhausting effort of learning grammar by heart – here grammar is not only trained but also understood with practical examples and innovative games/role-playing and active exercises – practically applied everything makes much more sense and the more you actively use grammar while speaking, the easier it becomes – at the end of the grammar courses you are a professional and are no longer afraid to use complex grammar in your conversations :).

Here you find the overview about the German Course Grammatik Aktiv B2/C1:

Module (1) | Main and subordinate clauses

Be versatile  – Here you learn how to build compact main clauses instead of subordinate clauses and how you can transform one into the other. We dive, among others, into the world of causal and conditional clauses. You also learn which clauses are better suited for speaking and which ones for writing in German.

Module (2) | Passive voice  & Subjunctive

Be eloquent – Your use of language will be diversified through the use of passive voice and subjunctive  – you will see: You can even have fun using them! In the course all essential functions will be explained and practical alternatives will be shown. You will as well learn the importance of indirect speech (with and without subjunctive I).

Module (3) | Syntax/Word order

Be correct – The german syntax is a puzzle. Here you learn how and where to put temporal and local information because: It is vital to how correct your German sounds to know the right word order. Congenial to this, connected nouns and verbs (Nomen-Verb-Verbindungen) will be discussed.

Module (4) | Subtleties

Know the details –  In this module we look at small, but important details in the German language e.g. special nouns. Also you learn new uses for small words like doch and we explain remaining questions concerning prepositions.

Module (5) | Perfection

Perfect your expression. In this module we will go into important written and oral details. Where does the comma go and why? What do idioms and proverbs mean (e.g.: Da fällt mir aber ein Stein vom Herzen!)? Important written and oral details: The correct use of the small but difficult word “es” as well as the subjective meaning of modal verbs.
