The German course B1 starts where you left off the German course A2. You will learn to understand and express familiar things from work, school and leisure and to read appropriate texts. Furthermore, your vocabulary and grammar skills will be expanded and deepened. This course prepares you for advanced language use.

What can you expect in the B1 German course?
Here is your course content.
Requirements:
- knowledge from German Course A2
The B1 German course consolidates what you have learned in the A2 German course and based on this, new grammar is learned. You will learn to talk about familiar things (work, school, leisure) and to understand clear standard language. After completion of the language course you can:
- handle most situations you will encounter when travelling in the language area,
- express yourself simply and coherently on familiar topics and personal areas of interest,
- report about experiences and events,
- describe dreams, hopes and goals and
- give short explanations or justifications for plans and opinions;
The DIALOG language course is divided into two language levels (B1.1 and B1.2) and is conducted as usual with a maximum of 5-10 participants.

Everything you need to know!
In the first part of the B1 German course you work on your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills on familiar topics from work, school or leisure. All topics are based on your previous knowledge of German from level A2. Our language trainers will teach you new vocabulary and deepen your German grammar.
Your German language skills after the B1.1 German course:
Talking about familiar things
At the beginning of the B1.1 German course you will learn to talk about various topics that are familiar to you and that can help you to cope with most situations when travelling. You will be able to talk about experiences and events, describe hopes and goals and give short explanations.
At the end of B1.1 you will be able to read and understand texts in common everyday or professional language. Writing simple, coherent texts on topics that interest you personally will no longer be a problem for you.

In order to really consolidate your German grammar, we try to explain all topics in a comprehensible way and show you how to use them in practice. From experience we also know that often the correct oral application of grammar is difficult. To improve this, we use oral exercises and activities from the beginning.
